Evaluating your audience.

The secret to growing a community from SCRATCH. The key is.. bringing value to your content.

To get straight to it, create content that you think is shareable and can be talked about in a positive way. You’ll want to create a chain effect for others to talk about you, share your content, and collaborate with other creators that share the same community.

Find ways that you can bring your creativity to your content. Do NOT try to compare yourself to other creators. Most likely, everyone has had their journey in “making it” after one day, one week, one year, 10 years.. Everyone experiences growth at their own pace. The thing about social media is that there’s no secret in knowing when a post of yours will go viral. It will often be at the most random times.  You can’t predict where social media takes you. Social media is unpredictable, but being able to experiment with how you want to build your brand is what makes it so exciting.  Don’t try to post content with the expectation of it going viral overnight. Be kind to yourself and avoid putting unnecessary pressure on yourself. But be prepared for when it DOES happen, because it can happen at any moment.  Focus on putting in the time and making your content unique from others in the same community as you. This will help increase your odds of becoming the next big viral hit.

Finding your niche.

Let’s break it down. The real reason you may not be seeing growth in your numbers, is because you haven’t put enough time and effort into making content that will bring the most engagement. What does your audience like? What do they want to see more of? Find out what works and what doesn’t. It’s okay to re-strategize.

Stay on the pulse of new and upcoming social media trends. Look for ways to make your content more relatable to your audience. If you can increase the chance of another retweet, like or share, then that’s what you want to aim for. The more engaged your followers are, the easier it will be for you to grow overtime.

Building strong connections.

Making new friends that share the same hobbies and interests as us is great. But what you might not realize is how beneficial these relationships can be for one another in this space! Friends are great for bouncing ideas off of eachother. Showing your content to someone else before posting can be very beneficial. They may notice something you didn’t or have an idea to help bring your idea to the next level. You need to utilize the resources around you, and helpful friends are one of them!
